Art show and Open House
The show is running now through May 12th.
A free plant will be given to the first 50 guests to arrive. Tickets are available now through the 21st for 3 pieces of framed art to be raffled off at 2:00. Two are Snohomish Garden Tour prints from 2002, artwork by Flo Schilaty. And the third is the 2001 Skagit Valley Tulip Festival poster, artwork by R. Van Beek.
Enjoy a lasting spring when you purchase your original art from our participating artists: Cathy Clark, Susan Dawson, Bob Dunn, John Holmes, Roxanne Jaross, Helen Lueken, Carol Noble, Janie Olsen, Helen VanProyen, and Bev Wilkinson. The various mediums you will see are watercolor, oil, acrylic, colored pencil, pastel and photography.
So stop by anytime to find your favorite flower to take home. We have roses and rhodys, pansies and poppies, tulips, magnolias, fushias, glads, sunflowers and even a dandelion. And so much more!
Nude Awakening
Members of the Snohomish Life Drawing Group will display original works in a figure art show, entitled "Nude Awakening". It will consist of pieces completed during the three hour weekly drawing sessions as well as work created by the artists outside of the sessions. The exhibit will showcase the talents of local artists in many drawing mediums as well as encaustic, watercolor, and oil painting.
Snohomish Life Drawing meets Tuesdays from 7-10 pm, upstairs at the Carnegie Building, 105 Cedar Avenue, Snohomish. There is a $10 model fee. Uninstructed.
